Alienation, rejection, ostracization... these experiences paint different people into different corners. Your mind and spark both adapt as best they can-- and sometimes you can't fully control what you become. Kuma sees different parts of themself in Hayden, varied fragments, but the ones they glimpse the most are those who've been cast out. Abandoned by family over his sexuality and abandoned by society for his engagement with the occult, Hayden has been embittered in many little ways by his exiling. Kuma, Maxx, and Celestia now make up the closest thing Hayden's ever had to a family, and while it's hard for Maxx and Celestia to grapple with some of Hayden's sensitivities, Kuma always knows how to help or when to leave things alone.

AGHHH HAYDEN, this is the first cover art to feature Hayden, and I'm so happy w it ^-^ he looks so fucking cute I cld die!! Anyway, yeah this is the same kind of deal as my last single, "Every Naked Inch," where I wanted to do a track that was about the relationship between Kuma and one of their friends. If you're not aware, the main group--they've called themselves "The Omni-Punks" in the past, but now they go by The Babydolls (also sometimes The Plushie Punks)--consists of Kuma, Celestia, Maxx, and Hayden.

ONE MORE THING, I'm proud to say that this track is the first (of many, I'd imagine) that I'll have also released on Yuki Noise Wall's label, "Endogenic Noise Records"!1!! It's this super rad underground label that releases all kinds of music, and its founder has been a fan of my work for years and invited me to release on it to get me more exposure and stuff!
